GIFT SHOPPING
We are delighted when our clients shop Mistralou Vintage French Goods Shop for their loved ones.  All orders are always carefully wrapped and "ribboned", so when they are received, they delight you, or the recipient of the gift.  If there is a special message you'd like us to include in a gift card, please let us know!
 
RETURNS, EXCHANGES, CANCELLATIONS…
 Regretfully Mistralou Vintage French Goods does not accept returns, exchanges, or issues refunds. Our items are vintage or antique, unless otherwise specified. We ask you to read the descriptions carefully, and look at the images before you make a purchase.  We accept cancellations only up to 24 hours after ordering.  No returns will be accepted.
All vintage or antique items are sold "as is". If you have concerns, please contact us by email with questions or to request additional photos, before you make a purchase. We make a lot of effort to ensure that our clients understand the condition of the items at the time of purchase - most of them show some normal use or wear, and in our opinion the patina that comes with age adds real beauty and charm. We will list the condition of the item as accurately as we can. 
We make sure our finds are cleaned before we list them, but signs of age will be there.
If you’ve changed your mind and you'd like to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible - we accept cancellations within 24 hours after purchase.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept all major credit cards.  Payment is due upon order.  Payments are accepted via a bank card, and will be carried out through a security system which uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol.  
 
PLACING AN ORDER
The products in Mistralou Vintage French Goods are sold without the decorative accessories and photo props that may appear in the photographs of items for sale.  In other words - photo props are not included with your purchase.
The prices of items are listed in United States Dollars. VAT not applicable - Article 293B of the Code General des Impots.
You will receive an order confirmation as soon as it is placed. Your purchase is shipped within 2-4 working days after payment has cleared our bank account.
The seller, in the online sales process, cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from the use of the internet network, such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, breakdown of the service, or other problems beyond our control.
ORDER SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Your purchase will be shipped to the address you provided unless you contact us by e-mail and let us know of any changes within the first 24 hours after ordering.  
If there are any changes made to the address, or the name of the addressee, your order will need to be cancelled and processed anew. Please note that we cannot take financial responsibility if the delivery address you provided is incorrect or if your item is returned undelivered.
After the order is dispatched, all risks are borne by the purchaser.  We are not responsible for delays, custom charges, additional costs, or damage caused in transport.  All import taxes/customs are the responsibility of the buyer - in accordance with the requirements of the country of destination. Please check with your country's customs service. 
Attention buyers in countries/states with sales tax - due to differences in state/country laws, you may be responsible for sales tax in your state/country. This includes USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and may include other countries as well.  
 
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
All orders are sent with a tracking number, and require the signature on delivery, which is also our proof of delivery. We send all orders via La Poste/Colissimo by default, or another carrier of your choice if selected at checkout.  The buyer can select additional insurance or express delivery at the time of ordering. Mistralou Vintage French Goods does not accept responsibility of the timing of the delivery, even if an express delivery is selected and paid for.
Regretfully if an item is LOST or DAMAGED in transit Mistralou Vintage French Goods claims no responsibility or liability. If you prefer/require additional contents insurance to cover the value of your purchase, please notify us in advance. This can be arranged for you at an additional cost and added to your order before checkout/payment.  Filing a claim and attempting a reimbursement is the sole responsibility of the buyer. 
A delay in delivery cannot authorize a cancellation, or refund, full or partial, of the order, and may in no case result in compensation payment for the delay or damage by Mistralou Vintage French Goods.
 
RECEIVING YOUR ORDER 
If your order is returned to us, Mistralou Vintage French Goods reserves the right to charge the restocking fee of 15% of the order total, and the shipping charges will not be refunded.
The orders are delivered to the address indicated by the buyer.  The buyer is responsible to verify the condition of the item at time of delivery.  In case of damage it is buyers’ responsibility to file necessary forms with the postal carrier of their country.
